The Ambush Trading System
Paradoxically, Marco discovered Ambush while testing short-term breakout strategies. While these breakout strategies tended to perform not too bad in some markets, they performed extremely poor in most of the markets.
What to do? Of course, try the opposite! Looking for markets that have a strong tendency to mean-revert in the short-term and build a system to exploit this market behavior. Back in 2007, the Ambush System was born.
On the left, you can see an example of Ambush in action trading the E-Mini S&P 500 (ES). Having a closer look at the Entries and Exits you can clearly notice how Ambush works. It trades against the short-term trend on potential reversal days to take advantage of the market's strong mean-reverting behavior. It's also worth noticing that even though this is a daily price chart, all of these trades are day trades as Ambush never holds positions overnight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Short answer: a couple of minutes per day
The Ambush Signals Dashboard for Forex usually gets updated between 17:00 and 17:15 NY time. And the Futures Signals usually follow about one hour later around 18:30 NY time. When the Signals for the next trading session are available, you automatically get an email notification.
Now you place your entry orders for the next trading day and walk away. Simply come back a few minutes before the closing time of the markets you're trading.
Of course, if you can't be there at exactly these times all the time, it's no problem at all. You might get slightly different results then what you see on the dashboard but over the long run, it doesn't matter if you close your trade a bit earlier or place your entry orders a few hours later.
Yes, you immediately get an email notification when the new Signals for the next trading session are online or whenever the internal Blog is updated.
Yes, each trade has a fixed protective stop-loss.
